How these neuronal networks communicate with each other and self-organize to give rise to the rich repertoire of neural dynamics observed in the brain is not clear. We approach this problem through data-constrained computational modelling and theoretical analysis of large-scale neuronal networks. By building computational models of neural circuits and analysis of neural activity, we aim to reveal the fundamental mechanisms underlying the operation of the brain in healthy and disease
