We build computational models of brain networks, to understand how brain structure is linked to its dynamics and function.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The brain is composed of complex networks of neurons, which underlie its adaptive and versatile functionality. How these neuronal networks communicate with each other and self-organize to give rise to the rich repertoire of neural dynamics observed in the brain is not clear. We approach this problem through data-constrained computational modelling and theoretical analysis of large-scale neuronal networks. By building computational models of neural circuits and analysis of neural activity, we aim to reveal the fundamental mechanisms underlying the operation of the brain in healthy and disease conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
